Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- one to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and understand safety rules and maintenance instructions
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting heavy items
- ability to work with cleaning chemicals and operate cleaning equipment
- good communication skills
- willingness to provide excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- ability to read and interpret safety and procedural documents
- ability to write routine reports
- basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- strong problem-solving and reasoning ability
- experience operating laundry and cleaning machinery preferred
- customer service skills
- physical stamina for lifting and cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain hotel lobby, hallways, public restrooms, and public areas
- maintain surrounding hotel exterior including sidewalks, signage, entrance, and alley
- perform deep cleaning tasks such as shampooing rooms and public areas, washing windows, cleaning light fixtures, and guest elevators
- maintain back of the house areas
- deliver housekeeping items to guest rooms upon request
- receive assignments, keys and special guest requests at shift start
- check and replenish cleaning supplies and tools
- greet guests and respond to their requests promptly and courteously
- follow procedures for entering and leaving guest rooms
- return lost and found items with proper documentation
- operate washers, dryers, linen feeders, and ironing machines following manufacturer guidelines
- monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, minimizing waste and reporting discrepancies
