Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Strong listening and conflict resolution skills
- Effective communication skills
- Desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive and clock in on time for shifts
- Commitment to designated break schedule
- Provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names to welcome them personally
- Work together as a team to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Have strong knowledge of hotel facilities, features, and amenities
- Support and be aware of all groups and events at the hotel
- Understand relevant technology for the role and exhibit proper phone etiquette
- Keep all workspaces spotless and well-organized both front and back of house
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests warmly even while performing cleaning tasks
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time each shift
- Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Maintain a flawless uniform and groomed appearance while smiling
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude, ready to stretch beyond traditional roles
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment
- Store and retrieve guest luggage and packages as needed
- Clean and maintain hallways, stairwells, service areas, ice rooms, and exterior grounds
- Collect trash and soiled linen and deliver to laundry
- Monitor and report on public space furniture condition
- Maintain stock levels of linens and amenities
- Replenish supplies in guest rooms and housekeeping carts
