Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or custodial experience is a plus but not required
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- good physical stamina
- able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout shift
- strong attention to detail and a service-oriented attitude
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and back-of-house spaces
- deliver linens, towels, amenities, and cleaning supplies to room attendants
- remove trash and dirty linens from guest room floors and housekeeping carts
- assist with deep cleaning projects, furniture moving, and special setups as needed
- respond promptly to guest requests such as extra linens, pillows, or rollaway beds
- maintain cleanliness of housekeeping closets and ensure carts are stocked
- report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
