Job Requirements

  • Basic English communication skills
  • Prior housekeeping experience helpful
  • Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuum, carpet cleaner, and floor buffer
  • Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals
  • Capability to lift exerting up to 100 pounds occasionally and/or 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand for long hours
  • Tolerance for variable temperatures and noise levels
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to safely operate vacuum, carpet cleaner, floor buffer, and cleaning chemicals

Job Duties

  • Walk assigned halls to ensure public areas are clean and tidy
  • Care for elevators, guestroom landings, and vending areas
  • Report missing items or needed repairs
  • Ensure assigned areas are stocked, clean, and organized
  • Assist coworkers with heavy lifting and other tasks
  • Greet guests warmly and share a friendly smile
  • Follow hotel safety and security policies and procedures
