Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • basic mathematic knowledge
  • ability to read, write and speak fluent English
  • knowledge of cleaning materials and required tools
  • ability to follow directions
  • ability to communicate basic hospitality greetings and safety concerns
  • adaptability to changing needs and requests
  • stable job history

Job Duties

  • Sweep and mop lobby daily and hallways as needed
  • keep public areas clean and orderly
  • clean elevators inside and out including tracks
  • deliver amenities and other items to guest rooms
  • clean lobby bathrooms daily and as needed
  • remove debris and trash from driveway and other areas
  • empty trashcans in public areas
  • clean window glass as needed or directed
  • inform manager or supervisor of maintenance items needing attention
  • deliver guest requests
  • pick up dirty linen and trash from housekeepers
  • complete all items on Public Areas check list
  • perform other tasks as identified by manager or supervisor
  • exemplify the Dolphin Hotels Standards of Excellence
