Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- 2 to 3 years of housekeeping experience preferred
- previous hotel or condo housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to communicate efficiently in English required
- ability to communicate in Spanish preferred
- must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- must be able to stand for long periods without sitting
- willing to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- 2 to 3 years of housekeeping experience or equivalent preferred
- previous experience housekeeping in hotels or condos preferred
- must be able to communicate effectively in English
- ability to communicate in Spanish preferred
- physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds

- willingness to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- strong attention to detail
- excellent guest service skills
Job Duties
- Walk assigned floors at the beginning and end of shift
- remove newspapers and service trays
- empty ash urns
- remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning
- clean public areas such as hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells
- remove dirty linen, terry, and trash from service areas and transport to appropriate locations
- assist sectional housekeepers as needed including moving furniture and rollways
- report missing or damaged articles and submit found items to housekeeping office according to Lost and Found procedures
- respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner
- ensure hallways are clear of trash and used room service trays taken to Stewarding department
- report needs for floor cleaning, polishing, and carpet shampoo and coordinate cleaning procedures using equipment
- arrange newspapers and magazines in the lobby and clear tables of used materials and trash
- report maintenance issues timely to PBX center
- transport baby cribs and rollaway beds to guest rooms
- participate in training classes set up by The Arrabelle, Rock Resort and Vail Resorts
- comply with all Resort policies, procedures and standards of operation
- perform other duties as assigned
