Job Requirements
- Must pass security clearance per company policy
- Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for up to eight hours and perform tasks such as bending, stretching, reaching, climbing, kneeling
- Must be able to see and hear
- Must display professionalism and honesty at all times
- Must be able to perform major life activities including learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
- Must be able to comply with all company standards and emergency procedures
- Must maintain a friendly and professional image while standing or walking for long periods
Job Qualifications
- Experience in similar capacities such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- Ability to communicate professionally with guests and coworkers
- Ability to follow procedures systematically and work as a team member
- Basic maintenance repair knowledge including leaking faucets and running toilets
- Knowledge of proper handling of linens and supplies with sanitation and cost control in mind
- Ability to maintain guest privacy and a hospitable caring attitude
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, and communicating
- Ability to speak and understand English, additional language skills are a plus
Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
- Maintains cleanliness of public spaces including grounds and parking lot
- Assists room attendants ensuring cleanliness standards are met
- Assists maintenance department with minor repairs and work orders
- Responds to guest requests such as delivering supplies in a timely and hospitable manner
- Performs minor troubleshooting and maintenance of hotel equipment
- Sets up meeting rooms if applicable
- Adheres to general clean guidelines for all public areas
- Follows emergency procedures and reports hazardous conditions
- Other duties as assigned including assistance in housekeeping, laundry or maintenance
