Job Requirements

  • must be able to perform standing, lifting, bending, concentrating, reading, thinking and communicating
  • must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • experience in similar capacities such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities preferred but not mandatory
  • strong knowledge of proper handling of linens, terry, and supplies with sanitation and cost control in mind
  • familiarity with safety and security measures
  • ability to perform basic maintenance repairs like fixing leaking faucets or running toilets
  • professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • ability to multi-task and maintain a service-centric attitude

Job Duties

  • provides excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • maintains cleanliness of public spaces and organizes supplies
  • assists room attendants ensuring cleanliness standards are met
  • assists maintenance with minor repairs and work orders
  • keeps public areas, grounds, and parking lot clean while maintaining brand standards
  • responds to guest requests such as delivering supplies
  • performs minor troubleshooting and maintenance of hotel equipment
  • sets up meeting rooms as needed
  • adheres to safety and emergency procedures
  • supports housekeeping, laundry, or maintenance departments as required
