Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and hotel cleaning standards
- Good physical health and stamina to perform cleaning duties
- Reliable transportation is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be attentive courteous and friendly to guests and coworkers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or public space cleaning experience is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate weight
- Customer service oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in guest corridors elevators and all assigned areas
- Deliver items to guest rooms including luggage irons and coffee
- Be attentive friendly helpful and courteous to all guests managers and fellow employees
- Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests fellow employees and self
- Handle items for Lost and Found according to hotel standards
- Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Assist with guestroom cleaning procedures if needed
- Deliver clean linen to assigned sections if necessary
- Pick up Room Attendants dirty linen or trash as needed
- Collect all trash from service landings and dispose of it per hotel procedures
- Vacuum guest corridors
- Keep hallways public areas and closets neat and organized
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms
- Adhere to schedule for project cleaning of public areas
- Maintain stairwells to hotel standards
- Keep ash urn clean and filled with sand
