Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- One to two years supervisory experience in commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures
- Minimum of two years work experience in long-term care preferred

Job Duties
- Supervises all environmental services personnel and daily work in assigned areas
- Processes and maintains records of accounts payable, supplies, and equipment maintenance
- Assists in creation and implementation of housekeeping program and record keeping systems
- Trains housekeeping and laundry personnel on cleaning, laundry and maintenance tasks
- Assigns duties and inspects work for cleanliness standards
- Ensures environmental and linen cleanliness and sanitation for resident safety
- Organizes employee shifts and arranges for replacements
- Works with nursing, physicians, and department leaders on environmental service requests and infection prevention
- Prepares housekeeping schedules and ensures compliance with safety and sanitation policies
- Performs daily rounding and inspection of assigned areas
- Coordinates cleaning of various facility areas including offices, restrooms, lounges, and therapy rooms
- Coordinates with maintenance for floor service and carpet cleaning
- Performs terminal cleaning duties in resident rooms upon discharge
- Performs cleaning in isolation units according to protocols
- Monitors and replenishes cleaning products and inventories stock
- Provides 24-hour on call service in emergencies
- Makes recommendations to improve service and operation efficiency
