Job Requirements
- Must be able to work full-time or part-time shifts as scheduled
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is an asset
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Assists in cleaning residents apartments, common areas and bathrooms
- Sweeps and mops floors
- Assists with washing, drying, folding, and delivery of facility linen, towels, and residents' clothing
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards in all assigned areas
- Follows safety and infection control procedures
- Reports maintenance issues or supplies needed
- Supports team efforts to maintain a comfortable environment for residents
- Communicates effectively with supervisors and other staff
