Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning procedures
- Ability to complete physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Willingness to assist residents with daily activities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Compliance with AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse and House Bill 531
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or residential facility preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and routines
- Good interpersonal skills for resident interaction
- Ability to maintain records and documentation
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Compassionate and patient attitude when assisting residents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Ensure all common areas of the community are maintained in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition including corridors, common areas, service areas, restrooms, linen closets
- Clean, detail, and refill supplies for all assigned areas including common areas and offices
- Ensure resident rooms, dining areas, and activity areas are cleaned as assigned including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, eliminating odors
- Ensure the Daily Routine for Housekeeper Staff is completed and implemented each working day
- Maintain records as required to document daily housekeeping and track housekeeping aspects such as maintenance, pests, sanitation
- Ensure compliance with health codes, sanitation regulations, state regulations, and company policies
- Assist residents with daily living activities safely including ambulation, incontinent care, feeding, bathroom/hygiene assistance, safety measures
