Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods

Job Duties
- Have a thorough understanding of the cleaning requirements for a particular task
- Perform general cleaning tasks in office, restrooms, and other general areas as assigned
- Perform tasks to an acceptable level of quality and on time
- Communicate effectively with other members of the cleaning crew
- Follow instructions from immediate supervisor
- Know the tools required for a particular job and bring correct tools to the work area
- Stay at the work station until job is completed and inform Working Group Leader when task is finished
- Keep area neat while working and keep cart properly stocked
- Demonstrate a consistent level of performance
- Strive to maintain a steady level of productivity and provide a consistent effort
- Seek out work that needs to be done, work on ongoing projects and assist others as requested
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes in workload
- Strive to make good use of time
- Follow instructions
- Demonstrate maturity for accountability of job performance
- Address visitors and co-workers in a pleasant and respectful manner and display courtesy at all times
