Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of general and department specific orientation
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting bending and standing for long periods
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts including evenings
- Previous hospital housekeeping experience preferred

Job Duties
- Arrange furniture for meetings and workshops and community affairs
- Assist in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request
- Clean housekeeping closet and maintain par levels
- Collect and transport all waste including regulated medical waste according to policy
- Compact trash or place in containers
- Damp buff and shampoo carpets with approved equipment
- Dry and wet mop floors of rooms and offices
- Dust mop and wet mop corridors stairwells and other common areas
- Empty waste receptacles and remove trash
- Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and have repairs made when needed
- Observe and report the need to repair equipment furniture building and fixtures
- Perform patient discharge cleaning using 7-step cleaning procedure
- Refill paper towels toilet paper soap and toilet seat dispensers
- Ensure patient rooms are always patient ready with tent cards toilet seat bands and privacy curtains
