Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
successful completion of general and department specific orientation
ability to work evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM
ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
previous hospital housekeeping experience preferred
understanding of cleaning procedures and hospital safety standards

Job Duties

Arrange furniture for meetings, workshops and community affairs
assist in cleaning emergency spills observed or upon request
clean housekeeping closet and maintain par levels
collect and transport all waste including regulated medical waste according to policy
compact trash or place in containers
damp buff and shampoo carpets with approved equipment
dry and wet mop floors of rooms and offices
