Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in hospitality is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for prolonged periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleaning standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Job Duties
- Maintain and clean designated areas of the hotel including public spaces, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
- Wipe and polish furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets
- Wash windows and polish floors
- Remove trash and clean ashtrays
- Greet guests with a friendly hello
- Advise management of maintenance needs
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies
- Execute deep cleaning tasks and special projects
- Fulfill guest requests and assist with tidiness of guest accommodations
