Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- excellent guest service and communication skills
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in hospitality
- physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces offices restrooms and conference rooms
- adhere to the highest cleaning and hygiene standards
- wipe and polish furniture and fixtures
- vacuum carpets sweep and mop floors shampoo carpets wash windows polish floors remove trash and clean ashtrays
- greet guests with a friendly hello to create a hospitable atmosphere
- report maintenance needs related to fire alarms sprinklers sewer and plumbing systems
- monitor and maintain supplies based on demand and usage patterns
- execute in-depth cleaning duties and manage special cleaning projects
- fulfill guest requests and assist in maintaining the tidiness of guest accommodations
