Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- familiarity with hotel safety and cleanliness protocols
Job Duties
- maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
- respond promptly to guest requests to ensure exceptional customer service
- wipe and polish furniture and fixtures
- vacuum, sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets
- wash windows and polish floors
- manage removal of trash and cleaning ashtrays
- advise management of maintenance requirements to keep facilities up to code
- monitor and maintain cleaning supplies based on demand and usage
- execute in-depth cleaning duties and manage special cleaning projects
- assist in maintaining tidiness of guest accommodations when needed
- create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests warmly
