Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment valued
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending
Job Duties
- Maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
- Adhere to highest cleaning standards and protocols
- Wipe and polish furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets
- Wash windows and polish floors
- Remove trash and clean ashtrays regularly
- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously
- Advise management of maintenance needs to ensure safety and compliance
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies based on demand and usage
- Execute in-depth cleaning tasks and manage special cleaning projects
- Assist in maintaining tidiness of guest accommodations when necessary
- Greet guests warmly to create a hospitable atmosphere
