Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is an advantage but not mandatory
- strong attention to detail
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a team
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- good physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces offices restrooms and conference rooms
- respond to and fulfill guest requests promptly
- execute cleaning tasks such as wiping and polishing furniture and fixtures vacuuming sweeping mopping shampooing carpets washing windows polishing floors and trash removal
- create an atmosphere of hospitality by greeting guests warmly
- advise management of maintenance requirements to ensure facility compliance
- monitor and maintain cleaning supplies based on demand and usage
- perform in-depth cleaning duties and manage special cleaning projects
