Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related cleaning roles preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to cleanliness standards
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and management
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Maintain and clean specified hotel areas including public spaces, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
- Attend to guest requests to provide exceptional service
- Perform cleaning tasks such as wiping and polishing furniture, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, polishing floors, and removing trash and ashtrays
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests warmly
- Report any maintenance needs including issues with fire alarms, sprinklers, plumbing, and other infrastructure to management
- Monitor and manage cleaning supplies to ensure adequate availability
- Conduct in-depth cleaning duties and manage special cleaning projects
- Assist in maintaining tidiness of guest accommodations as needed
