Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial work an advantage
good communication skills
ability to work effectively in a team
attention to detail and a strong work ethic
basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
understanding of safety and health regulations

Job Duties

maintain and clean specific areas of the hotel including public areas, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
cater to guests' requests to ensure exceptional customer service
wipe and polish furniture and fixtures
vacuum, sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets
wash windows and polish floors
manage the removal of trash and clean ashtrays
create an atmosphere of hospitality by greeting each guest
advise management of any maintenance requirements
monitor and maintain supplies for demand and usage
execute in-depth cleaning duties and manage exclusive projects
fulfill guest requests and assist in guest accommodations tidiness
