Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- excellent customer service skills
- basic communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces offices restrooms and conference rooms
- address and fulfill guest requests to ensure exceptional service
- wipe and polish furniture fixtures and fittings
- vacuum sweep mop and shampoo carpets
- wash windows and polish floors
- remove trash and clean ashtrays promptly
- report maintenance issues such as fire alarms sprinklers sewer and plumbing systems
- monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure availability
- perform deep cleaning tasks and manage special cleaning projects
- greet guests warmly to create a hospitable environment
