Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- ability to operate standard cleaning equipment and supplies
- good communication skills
- basic understanding of safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- customer service orientation
Job Duties
- maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces offices restrooms and conference rooms adhering to highest cleaning standards
- wipe and polish furniture and fixtures
- vacuum carpets sweep and mop floors shampoo carpets wash windows and polish floors
- manage removal of trash and clean ashtrays
- greet guests with a friendly hello to create an atmosphere of hospitality
- report maintenance issues to management including fire alarms sprinklers plumbing and sewer systems
- monitor and maintain cleaning supplies ensuring adequate inventory
- perform deep cleaning duties and manage exclusive cleaning projects
- fulfill guest requests and assist in maintaining tidiness of guest accommodations
