- experience in environmental service work preferred
- experience in burnishing floors and cleaning equipment preferred
Job Duties
- Performs timely patient room cleaning and provides cleaning support to various departments
- cleans daily in all areas including discharge cleaning, patient room cleaning, cycle cleaning, office cleaning and all ancillary area cleaning
- refills dispensers in all required areas and collects all receptacles
- completes project work such as wall washing, trash removal, biohazardous linens and sharp container removal
- assists with hospital emergency clean up
- actively participates in and accomplishes patient satisfaction initiatives
- adheres to all hospital safety standards in the use of chemicals, equipment and machinery
- adheres to policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the hospital and regulatory bodies
- performs other duties as assigned or required
