Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or related cleaning role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Maintain and clean specific areas of the hotel including public areas, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
- Adhere to highest cleaning standards including wiping and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets
- Wash windows and polish floors
- Remove trash and clean ashtrays
- Greet guests with a friendly hello to create an atmosphere of hospitality
- Advise management of maintenance requirements to keep the facility up to code
- Monitor and maintain supplies for demand and usage patterns
- Execute in-depth cleaning duties and manage exclusive projects
- Fulfill guest requests and assist in tidiness of guest accommodations
