Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle guest requests professionally and courteously
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Maintain and clean specific hotel areas including public spaces, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
- Address guest requests promptly to ensure exceptional customer service
- Dust, wipe, and polish furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, shampoo carpets
- Wash windows and polish floors
- Manage removal of trash and cleaning of ashtrays
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies based on demand and usage
- Report maintenance issues such as fire alarms, sprinklers, plumbing, and sewer systems to management
- Perform in-depth cleaning duties and manage exclusive projects
- Assist in tidiness of guest accommodations as needed
- Greet guests with a friendly hello to create a hospitable atmosphere
