Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to see close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
- Willingness to comply with safety and security policies
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- Clean floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, doors, and trash removal from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards regardless of assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Provide superior customer service when interacting with guests
