Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
- Willingness to work indoors and handle exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Flexible schedule availability
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing all floors, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance, such as cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards, regardless if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies stocked by restocking housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
