Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Willingness to work indoors and handle exposure to extreme weather conditions
  • Flexible schedule availability

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing all floors, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance, such as cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards, regardless if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies stocked by restocking housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
