Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Exposure to extreme temperatures such as cold and heat
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from rooms, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing outside trash
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assigned area
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
