Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct visual inspections
- Reliable communication skills to notify supervisors appropriately
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work standing for eight hour shifts indoors
- Availability for flexible scheduling
- Commitment to superior customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
- Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outdoor areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not assigned specific zones
- Conduct visual inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to verify cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
