Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standards and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces and be exposed to varying weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to maintain superior customer service
- Supportive of a diverse and inclusive team environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standards and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outdoor areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company cleanliness standards regardless of assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping carts with supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
