Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted floors
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
- Ability to visually inspect using close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Willingness to comply with all company safety policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming and washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outdoor areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to ensure quality cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
