Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted floors
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
  • Ability to visually inspect using close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Willingness to comply with all company safety policies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming and washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outdoor areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to ensure quality cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
