Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Capacity to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and maintain superior customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
