Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- Ability to see close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
- Willingness to work indoors and be exposed to extreme weather conditions
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow company standards and safety policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Any combination of education, training or experience providing necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, doors, and removing outside trash
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
