Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Possess knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to work in varying indoor environments including exposure to heat and cold
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience including good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills for reporting issues and interacting with guests
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath, kitchen areas, floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of specific assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness quality and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart with supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
