Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • Possess knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to work in varying indoor environments including exposure to heat and cold
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience including good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Good communication skills for reporting issues and interacting with guests

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath, kitchen areas, floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of specific assignment
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness quality and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart with supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
