Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to maintain superior customer service
- Ability to follow safety and security policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, floors, trash removal, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety/security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service while interacting with guests
