Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to work in exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Ability to maintain superior customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge and skills
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- Clean floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish guest room furnishings
- Maintain exterior room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing outside trash
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
