Job Requirements

Minimum one year housekeeping experience
Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
Capability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments
Ability to work flexible schedules

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standards and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent education
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows and removing surrounding trash
Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards, even if not assigned
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and presentation
Notify supervisor promptly of safety, security policy violations or guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
Provide superior customer service when interacting with guests
