Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to work flexible schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standards and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows and removing surrounding trash
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards, even if not assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and presentation
  • Notify supervisor promptly of safety, security policy violations or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Provide superior customer service when interacting with guests
