Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
- Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to work flexible schedules
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standards and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows and removing surrounding trash
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards, even if not assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and presentation
- Notify supervisor promptly of safety, security policy violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Provide superior customer service when interacting with guests
