Job Requirements

  • 1 to 6 months of related experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work with cleaning products, chemicals and solvents using safety equipment provided by the company
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously for a majority of the time
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to regularly lift, bend, kneel and occasionally work outdoors
  • Effective hearing, vision, speech and literacy skills

Job Duties

  • Regularly cleans items such as trash cans, windows, doors and mirrors as well as elevators
  • Details rooms, shampoos carpets in the hotel rooms and hotel hallways
  • Moves furniture and makes room deliveries, including linens
  • Assists houseperson with special projects, hotel rooms, cleaning floors, and lighting fixtures
  • Handles and disposes of biohazard materials in accordance with OSHA training provided by the company
  • Scrubs and disinfects sinks, toilets, furniture and various fixtures
  • Replenishes supplies in housekeeping, maintains housekeeping warehouse area and other work areas
  • Performs other duties as assigned
