Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position
- proficiency in English language to read write comprehend and communicate simple instructions correspondence memos etc
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Job Duties
- Clean offices and common areas including meeting rooms hallways reception area dining rooms and laundry rooms
- vacuum carpet
- mop and sweep tile and other hard surface flooring
- dust furniture and lamps
- clean mirrors and interior glass surfaces
- wipe window blinds
- remove cobwebs from light fixtures and other areas
- clean laundry room
- clean common-area bathrooms including mopping floors sanitizing toilets and sinks restocking bathroom items
- refill soap dispensers
- wipe mirrors
- clean employee break room including defrosting refrigerator wiping inside and outside of refrigerator and disposing expired items
- empty trash gondolas into outdoor dumpster
- mop and sweep trash room floors
- clear snow around dumpster in winter
- clean resident apartments during turnovers
- wash first-floor community common windows inside and out quarterly
- complete and submit maintenance slips as required
- maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies
- perform annual deep cleaning
- support culture driving top-line revenue and occupancy
- maintain floor maintenance of apartment buildings clubhouse and all community common areas
- assist with emergency housekeeping issues
