Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings
  • Ability to operate cleaning and turndown equipment safely
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Duties

  • Complete 24 turndown rooms between the hours of 5:30-9:30pm
  • Complete daily assigned stayover and checkout rooms usually 3-4 credits per day between 1:30p-5p
  • Turndown occupied and arrival guest rooms including replacing used amenities, ice, towels, glasses, turndown bed, leave chocolates, empty trash, close drapes, and turn on music following proper sequence
  • Clean occupied and departure rooms including make beds, vacuum, dust, scrub restrooms, clean patio, and refresh and supply guest room amenities
  • Efficiently process and prioritize tasks
  • Be attentive to guests ensuring an enjoyable visit
  • Remain calm and courteous in demanding guest situations, resolving when possible and reporting to supervisor or manager
