Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- must be able to work outside for extended periods in heat cold or light rain
- must have the ability to continuously walk stand bend twist and or stoop during work hours
- must have the ability to push pull and perform manual labor during working hours
- must have the ability to work on ladders for extended periods
- must have the ability to drive a golf cart
Job Qualifications
- schedule subject to Garden needs weekends required
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must be able to work independently as well as part of a team be self-motivated and customer service oriented
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience with floor maintenance such as stripping and waxing floors is highly preferred
Job Duties
- perform daily and deep-clean custodial duties including restroom sanitation dusting vacuuming mopping laundry floor scrubbing and trash removal
- perform minor building maintenance tasks and monitor custodial supply levels report any discrepancies to Housekeeping Operations Manager
- set up rooms for events staff meetings education classes and other scheduled activities according to requested layouts
- respond to guest or staff cleaning needs promptly during shifts ensuring positive visitor experience
- perform NBG safety procedures including lock-out tag out locating and operating firefighting equipment wearing safety PPE as needed training provided
- assist with Garden-wide special events and other duties as assigned
