Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No prior supervisory experience required
No licenses or certifications required
Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods
Ability to lift and move objects up to 55 pounds
Compliance with company safety procedures

Job Qualifications

Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
Good communication skills with guests and colleagues
Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties including lifting and moving objects
Ability to work as part of a team and support coworkers

Job Duties

Enter the status of cleaned rooms in assignment sheets
Complete checklists to report the cleanliness and condition of each assigned area
Complete paperwork required by the Housekeeping Department
Identify room assignments and the type of cleaning needed for each
Inspect guest rooms after they are cleaned by housekeepers
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
Follow procedures to access guest rooms ensuring they are unoccupied before entry
