Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- availability to work part-time hours including weekends or holidays
- ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions and safety procedures
- basic reading and writing skills
- prior experience in a similar role preferred
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or janitorial experience in a healthcare setting is an asset
- ability to understand and follow instructions
- strong attention to detail and reliability
- good physical stamina for manual cleaning duties
- knowledge of infection control procedures is a plus
- basic interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and communication
Job Duties
- clean patient rooms and hospital areas using approved cleaning agents
- maintain sanitary and safe conditions in all assigned areas
- dispose of waste and hazardous materials following safety protocols
- report maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel
- adhere to infection control and hospital safety standards
- collaborate with hospital staff to ensure efficient cleaning operations
- restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
