Job Requirements
- flexible and adaptable
- committed to working various shift times including am and pm
- proactive and communicates concerns immediately
- must use personal protective equipment such as boots, gloves and goggles
- experience with hand tools such as mops and brooms
- willing to get dirty and clean up others messes
- enthusiastic about interacting and helping guests
- able to read, write and speak the English language
- proficient in the use of mobile devices such as iphone or ipad
- self directed and able to complete repetitious tasks with quality
- comfortable working in a fast paced goal driven environment
Job Qualifications
- enjoys cleaning
- previous experience in a cleaning environment such as housekeeping, kitchen or restaurant
- previous experience in a self directed role requiring little supervision
- knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred
Job Duties
- assists housekeeper
- transports dirty linens and towels to the linen room and loading dock
- transports trash from guests rooms and hallways to the loading dock as needed
- delivers items requested by guest
- issues machines, cribs and air mattresses as needed in guest rooms
- restocking of linen rooms
- sweeping and cleaning the linen floor and room daily
- removes trash and recycle materials to appropriate areas throughout the day
- follows work assignments as assigned and prioritizes tasks in a timely manner
