Job Requirements

Flexible/adaptable to working in a variety of areas, conditions and changing start/end times
Committed to working various shift times including AM and PM
Proactive in communicating concerns and reacting to situations
Must use personal protective equipment, hand tools, power equipment/tools, disinfectants, degreasing chemicals and cleaning products
May require additional training in procedure and ergonomic principles
Willing to clean and manage others' messes
Enthusiastic about interacting and helping guests
Able to read, write and speak English
Proficient in mobile device usage such as iPhone and iPad
Self-directed and able to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment

Job Qualifications

Enjoys cleaning
Previous experience in a cleaning environment such as housekeeping or kitchen/restaurant
Previous experience in a self-directed role with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred

Job Duties

Assists housekeeper
Transports dirty linens/towels and removes from corridor floors to the linen room and loading dock
Transports trash from guest rooms and hallways to the loading dock as needed
Delivers items requested by guests
Issues machines, cribs and air mattresses as needed in guest rooms
Restocks linen rooms
Sweeps and cleans the linen floor and room daily
Removes trash and recycle materials to appropriate areas throughout the day
Follows work assignments and prioritizes tasks in a timely manner
