Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years prior hotel housekeeping experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Basic accounting, purchasing, and inventory skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Driver's license required

Job Duties
- Manage the operation of housekeeping and laundry departments to maintain orderly and attractive hotel conditions
- Hire, train, and evaluate housekeeping department personnel
- Direct daily housekeeping and laundry activities for guest rooms and public areas
- Schedule duties such as heavy cleaning and mattress rotations
- Prepare staff work schedules based on projected occupancy
- Inspect premises, guest rooms, linen rooms, and public areas to ensure superior housekeeping standards
- Maintain inventory of guest and housekeeping supplies and order replacements as needed
- Create a guest-focused service environment with high standards of cleanliness
- Respond promptly to customer needs and resolve problems timely
- Coordinate staff training on MSDS, OSHA, and safety policies
- Manage lost and found items
- Perform room attendant duties when required
- Perform other assigned duties
