Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to two years of employment in a related position
- working knowledge of housekeeping and hotel services, policies and operations
- ability to communicate effectively with management, staff and guests
- capability to enforce compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- ability to provide training and direct staff
- willingness to assist with operational tasks as needed

- working knowledge of housekeeping and hotel policies and operations
- effective communication skills with management, staff and guests
- ability to provide training and performance feedback
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Supervise the housekeeping staff
- provide open communications, training, coaching and counsel and provide performance feedback
- supervise and inspect cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house
- ensure compliance with safety, health, sanitation standards and regulations
- issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration
- issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift for inventory control
- respond to guest requests, concerns and problems
- log items into Lost and Found and answer inquiries
- implement emergency training and procedures
- assist evening staff with cleaning duties
- perform special projects and participate in hotel committees
