Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- one year of housekeeping supervisor experience at a resort or hotel required
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- no college degree required
- ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and carry during work
- ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
Job Qualifications
- One year of housekeeping supervisor experience at a resort or hotel
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- no college degree required
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding cleaning chemicals
- ability to perform room inspections for cleanliness and safety
- strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Hire and manage all room, house, and public area team members
- provide training to team members regularly
- identify areas of improvement and efficiency
- ensure that room attendants consistently perform stay-over and vacant attendant service
- inspect all assigned guest rooms to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- demonstrate proper use of cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces
- handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
